Connecting people…enriching the senses

Editing

The cut, the moment when one idea has been conveyed and you move to the next. Decisions, pacing–fast or slow, cut or dissolve… these are all considerations on the way to telling your story.

Fade in… music, sound effects, 3 hours of footage to be cut down to 3 minutes or 30 seconds. cut, dissolve fade to black.

Like writing a great story or giving a great presentation … distilling the material down to it's core quality represents editing.

Finding the Story

There are generally two ways to begin a story. One that starts with a clear vision and one that develops as the story progresses. In effective story telling, a considerable amount of time is spent on clearly defining your vision, your message, your story.

In an age where fedex isn't fast enough you only have but a brief moment to engage your viewer. If your story doesn't connect and create meaning then people will tune out. It is only through a clearly defined vision and message that meaningful communications can take place.

Story telling is a process… a process of listening, reflecting, researching, synthesizing and trusting our instincts which results in more meaningful communications.

Telling your story in a meaningful way will make a difference… our mission is to facilitate ways to express your message while keeping interest and focus.
